“I’m not glamorous, but without me… you’d be running on empty.”
– Your Small Intestine

You don’t hear about me much, do you?
That’s okay. I’m not loud. But I am essential.

I am the small intestine- discernment digestion and deep nourishment are my tasks. I’m your internal sorter. Your nutrient gatekeeper. The one who decides whether your body gets fed—or just filled.
After your stomach has done the heavy turning, it’s over to me. I’m lined with long, soft tendrils called villi—think of them like the leather flaps in a car wash. When they’re clean and mobile, they extract the essential nutrients from your food and draw them into your bloodstream. Then I pass the baton to the Heart, who sends that nourishment wherever it’s needed.

But if those villi are clogged with inflammatory foods, old residue, or stress chemistry? I can’t do my job properly. Your body doesn’t get the fuel it needs. And you feel tired, foggy, bloated, and undernourished—even if you’re “eating healthy.” If you’re interested in understanding your digestive system in a complete way go to this article it covers most of what you need to know about what happens in the process of your complex but amazing digestive system. It’s the national library of medicine. Discernment digestion and deep nourishment are my jobs
